Horning on the Norfolk Broads

Approx six miles from Driftwood Lodge lies the pretty village of Horning which is part of The Norfolk Broads and a must see destination for visitors and locals alike. While away the day feeding the swans whilst enjoying an ice cream or why not take a picnic to enjoy at the waters side.

There are several boat hire companies for those happy to take to the water under their own guidance and for those happy to let someone else take the wheel, there are guided pleasure boats with their own bar's on board!

Also at Horning is the well known and respected Roys of Wroxham department store, several pubs and tea rooms / cafe's, boat chandlers and all with ample car parking.
Within a short drive of Horning is Wroxham Barns complete with past-times mini fair rides for younger children, crazy golf and a mini railway. Children will also delight in being able to feed the animals in the farm area. Quality craft shops displaying locally made wares and a pleasant tea room complete the visit.
